facing the reality.. can i?

face it..
that's what i was asked to do..
face the reality that me and you don't exist
face it that there would never be "US"
that all of it was just "once upon a time"
it was all out of friendship

it was all just the same old ordinary conversations

they mean nothing
do not be mistaken by
NOTHING..

if you keep on running away from the truth..
if you keep on shutting your eyes
if you keep on covering your ears
if you keep on closing your mind
you'll get hurt more...
and more

it is hard...
of course it is
but at one point in your life
you got to make that decision
of knowing what to do
either giving up or holding on

as it was said
let go of something that hurts you even though it makes you happy
don't wait for the day that happiness is gone and all that is left is pain..

maybe tonight..
i'll think things over..
maybe tonight
i'll decide
maybe tonight
i'll have my last cry

it's been too long since i decided to not think about it
to not care
but it keeps on hurting me
more and more
and more..
