you were riding a raft in the middle of the ocean,
the water was calm..
the wind was a little freezing..
you lie down and look at the night sky..
and it was a sight to behold..
you lift your hand trying to catch the twinkling stars..
you close your eyes..
trying to get a grip..
and just as you opened them
you realise..
you don't have them in your hands..
the sky is still a little distant to you..
and that stars don't really twinkle..
you smile to yourself..
because even at the very end..
you can't ignore the fact that those stars are still adorable..
you still can't take your eyes off them and admire their beauty
even if you can't have them
