I love to visit different places (as long as I have the
money) well of course who isn't?
This would be my not so first time to write about my trip..
But this would be the very first detailed one for new travelers out there. ;)
I'm not a grammar nazzi so forgive me if I can't please you.
If you can't then burn and die! Haha!
My shift schedule is at night time.
So right after my shift we headed to cubao terminal for our
first class bus ride which cost us almost 800 because we ordered the ticket
earlier (with additional courier charge).
The terminal going to Baguio was located alongside mrt
station in Cubao. We actually took a jeepney from Eastwood Php10 and took a
walk going to the terminal which isn't quite a good idea since we have to climb
the overpass and walk a little far. If you have a heavy luggage, I suggest you
take a cab going to the terminal or mrt if it is more accesible from where you
are coming from.
We arrived around 1030am but our schedule was 12:10pm so we
ate first on nearby fastfood(chowking).
First class bus has a wifi, cr, recliner, spacious area,
free snacks, stewardes, tv and no stop over. It took us less than 5hour travel
when we arrived at the terminal in Baguio.
We took a cab going to our inn (Baguio Village Inn). It is a
5-10 minutes drive from Baguio Plaza(which is called bayan). From terminal to
our Inn it cost us 80pesos.
We took the room for two that has a shower which costs us
950 per day. check in time was 2pm. We reserved the room a little earlier so
doesn't matter that we arrived late. They also had a room for two which cost
700 but has a common bathroom.
It was around 6-7pm when we arrived. We decided to take a
nap first. Then woke up around 8pm.
We took a jeepney ride going to Burnham Park(Baguio Plaza as
sign board -Php8.50). There were a number of food stalls and other things. Much
like a night market. We had bbq flavored fries(Php35), footlong
w/vegetables(Php35), shawarma rice(Php50) and brekky breakfast(95). Brekky has
a sausage+egg+rice+chorizzo?+embutido??+longganisa???
Well I can say Brekky is quite a heavy meal. ;)
After eating we decided to walk around the park though we
are freeeeeeezing. Then we headed home riding a jeepney again (Trancoville
Route - 8.50)
The next day we woke up around 7pm. Then headed to Bayan
again(Baguio Plaza Jeepney -8.50) we ate @mcdonalds. Then headed to the
terminal going to minesview. Fare was Php10. We took off @Good Sheperd. Civet
Coffee/Musang Coffee was sold there "ang pinakamasarap na kape. A cup
would cost you Php100. 50g powdered was Php300. We also bougth empanada(Php40)
which is good too. :))
Then we took a walk going to Mines View. It was closeby.
Along the way we saw a taho vender and tried their strawberry taho(Php20). I
don't like the taste. It is okay but I don't want how it is too sweet. I didn't
manage to finished it. :( poor taho. And so as we climbed down to Mines View..
there we saw an overlooking view of mountains in Baguio.. well it isn't that
much of a good view. It is because I've seen better. But quite okay since we
didn't pay for any entrance. There were horses along the place which offers 10
pesos per shot.. and they freakingly took 20 shots which cost us 200. Gaaah!
you should have advised them to take only what your wallet can. so they wont go
gaga taking many angles of you riding the same horse for 20 times. There was
also a cute big dog(don't know the breed but who cares? i just want a photo).
50 pesos for 3 shots(my solo, bf's solo and both of us) and later we saw the
other dog which is cuter and background is much nicer.. with the same price..
poor us. >_< haha! but it's fine. We both pasalubong in minesview.. and
yes it is quite heavy.. Pasalubong only for our family cost us 3k all-in
already. ^_^ haha! Since it is heavy we decided to go back to our hotel riding
the jeepney just beside the entrance to minesview. cost us again 8.50 each.
after unloading all those plastics.. again we ride a jeep
going to bayan.. then minesview again but we got off where the mansion is nearer.. :)) we
asked the driver to drop us..then following google maps we reached the
mansion.. and just adjacent to it where the only thing left for is to do is
crossed the street is the right park. Yes just few steps away from the mansion.
Wright circle or park whatever.. we took some pictures again both some
pasalubong(konti na lang naman). then headed to the stables.. pero we went dow
first the 100steps staircase? or whatever it is called.. and took a lot of
pictures.. reaching the horses..- 300 for 1hour horse ride and 200 for 30mins
ride. you could share ride.. 30mins is exhausting already. I didn't ride the
horse.. Vhin did.. and gladly I didn't haha! because he got his butt wounded
because he ride the horse alone. >:3 poor him. and besides im scared.. haha!
and im texting someone ;") then after that just across the street is
Ketchup Food Corp? which have several restau..their food was featured on some
blog "Kanto" was famous but we ate in Rumah Sate.. indonesian food?
its tasty and price is average. :)) then after that we went to Botanical
Garden by feet again. it isn't that
far.. 10-15mins walk? but thr whole place is huge.. and would took most of your
time.. we planned on going on biking sa Burnham. pero ginabi na kami sa
Botanical kaya waley.. haha! >:3
We rode a jeepney going to bayan just outside botanical
garden.. Yes heavy traffic since it is around 5pm? or 530pm..
We got lost actually searching where the sm was.. :3 haha!
google isn't realible that time. haha! so we were like dead tired.. should have
taken a cab.. but not a smart move.. should have asked around. ^_^ then we got
ourselves movie tickets to "starting over again" and ate @savory
which costs us less than 120 with their e-meals serve every weekdys. after that
we discovered that sm cinemas where blockbusterssss!!! gaahh! we should have lined up earlier. :/ because
cinemas in sm baguio isn't too accomodating.. if you're late you'll sit on
monoblocks.. not so right.. having to pay same amount as the others but having
your tired back on cold pastic chair.. but the consolation was the good movie.
but still it isn't fair.. :/ it was
freaking 11pm? or so when the movie ended.. and we were freezing!!! took a cab
just outside the mall but you could wait for a jeepney ride again going to our
inn. ;) we were just so tireddddd for the non stop walking and walking..
the next day, saturday.. we actually planned waking up 6am
sharp and leaving 7am.. but oh dear bed.. still very tired. an hour extension
please... so there almost 830 haha! when we were done..

from our hotel to ride a jeepney not going to bayan but to La trinidad..
where strawberry farm is at..
ride a jeepney which has "tomay" or
"buyagan" on their sign card. and it'll drop you to strawberry farm..
madadaanan din ang PMA. so pwede kayong dun muna..
strawberry was across the road kung san kayo kami binaba..
so again pedestrians.. :)) no entrance fee to roam around the farm. Funny thing
is they thought were Koreans.. we talked on low voices.. and didn't seem to
recognize the farms people presence asking us some things.. epic failure was
when Vhin turned to them and speak tagalog... haha! major.major failure!!! but
getting over that.. the farm was vast.. and many crops not only strawberrys but
lettuces, broccolis and other as well.. strawberry picking is 300 per kilo but
when buying outside.. 120 per kilo since it isn't freshly picked from the farm.
but just right to have them for several days. ^_^ we bought some vegetables as
well.. 25 per kilo of broccoli.. and 100pesos for a 3kilo of mixed vegables.
:)) and again ang bigaaaaaat so sumakay kami pabalik ng hotel.. jeep ulit.. and
binaba namin mga gamit namin.. we rode a jeepny going to bayan to have our
lunch.. dine @lutonijuan unlirice and cost us only 89pesos then got us on a
taxi going to baguio bus terminal(which we shouldn't, cost us 60pesos). we
bought tickets scheduled 230am going back to Manila..
too late we found out that just outside the terminal were
jeepneys going to bayan.. which would only cost us 8.50 pesos..(so from v liner
we could take the jeepney going to bayan then another jeepney going to our inn
which is a lot cheaper) we got off @burnham again trying to look where the
jeepneys are located going to camp john hay.. we asked around where the
kias/pma na byahe was located.. and rode it.. cost us 8.50 again.. we got off
@camp joh hay.. ^_^ there was the replica of statue of liberty, bell house,
cemetary of negatism, the famous strawberry cake. i forgot the name of the
shop.. :3 they have branches along Baguio.. and the famous tree top
adventure!!!! ^_^ hihi. <3 800pesos="" :="" all="" and="" canopy="" deal..="" doesn="" drop..="" got="" includes="" it..="" it="" ride="" silver="" superman="" surfer="" t="" the="" tree="" vhin="" want="" was="" we="" which="" worth="">_< but its okay.. we got there late @4pm and it was
closed around 530... they had 6canopy rides. after 3/4 canopy goes the silver
surfer which was the vertical zipline.. ^_^ itgoes back and forth and you could
do the no-hand trick(not literally cut your hands), you could free your hands
in the air while your feet is against the perpendicular flat metal platform you
were standing at. after that you walk towards the superman stop.. it is the
horizontal zipline.. the view from the top was magnificent!!! though it was
just a bliss.. still worth it all.. ^^, then as we go up the stairs was the
funicular.. which we were the last two to ride since the place was closing..
lucky us.. aren't we? and so as the last canopy rides.. >:))
after that we went to mile high? where imported goods were
sold.. we didn't dine there.. food is too blant. >_< no maybe not just my
type.. so we rode a taxi going to sm.. costing us 80pesos.. on our way we
passed by the famous 50diners.. that i wanted to try but failed but no
worries.. then we ate our dinner @shakeys.. haha! >:)) then went home and got
some sleep for a little while..an hour
or so just before we left dear Baguio... We leave the place @1230am and got us
a taxi since marami kaming dala. >-/ then we were scheduled 230 but were
lucky to ride the 1am bus. ^_^ and we arrived in Manila @7am..
then there goes the end.. would have seen tam-awan village,
balatoc mines and Bencab museummmm!!! if we had extra day but it's fine
anyways. ^_^
